I am one of those people who enjoy surfing online. I also like shopping online. One of my worries is that I become a victim of internet fraud. I have seen and heard about the top internet fraud scams on TV. Most of them involve people into sending money or paying for false services and products. There are also internet scams wherein people have used their credit cards to purchase online are suddenly being charged with purchases they never made.

There are a lot of people who have fallen prey to internet scams. The top internet fraud scams involve identity theft, cyber crimes and crimes involving children. Personally, I find crimes involving children the worst. Children today are more adept at using the internet. Several pedophiles find their unsuspecting victims online. They often pretend to be kids as well and trick children into giving them their home address, their school and other information. Monitoring the sites your children visit on the internet should be done regularly to avoid potential scammers.
